Somonka: Quiet Eulogy
Do not say adieu
When I ghost, to dust I came
I have got a book
Of dotted T’ and I’, printed
Clear and bold; easy to read.
Do not say adieu
When I am cold lying still
Read my disclaimer
Boldly titled; quiet eulogy
From a deep sweet word of tears
Say me no adieu
For we were never friends
Then why try to please
My drying bones, for nothing
Inside my home, ears are deaf
Say me no adieu
Nor sweetness for my bitters
Neither the vacuums
Should be false to please the ears
Sing me no beautiful praise.
If am what you say
Tell to face not when I ghost
Say welcome to me
While I breath, before you bid
Your last adieu when I leave…
If am what you say
Let me hear those kind words now…
Not in funerals;
Honor me while am awake
Not when I am in deep sleep.

Mosquito farm
I often ponder; the essence of
Pandora’s box and evil deeds…
To an emperor and his empire
Like a ghost, never spotted
A blood bath on a reddish pool
Righteous sinner and a Godly Demon
Clean dirty mud, innocent vampires…
That do not feast on the red water
From human streams, well, not directly
But through large farm of mosquitoes
He sets them free to suck human blood
And when filled it returns to him
Emptying bloods fetched from veins
The thin line between life and death
Begins to fade; easy to erase
Vampires are people making deadly weapons
And weapons do not kill
Vampires do, indirectly.

Please come home
The sun no longer shines
In middays of my life
How did I let you go
Far away from our home
A king without a crown
Walking dead I am now…
Workman without his tools
Seems I am but a fool.
The sweet thoughts of you
Arouses within me
An enormous feeling
Harvesting cold feet
On my face and heart
Are pains, so big and large
Pregnancy I can’t hide
Please come home, I miss you bad.

Mother of greatness
Been unable to pay bills
Down but now on the hills
Part and parcel of an humble race
Greatness from grass to grace
People now wonder like Alex
Bedazzled to see your Apex,
Where nothing came effortlessly
Please crush enemies totally!!
On land, on air, even seas
Yes, I know they’ve to see
What will become of you
If indeed you’ll last long too
Every has its time and season
An end is always your beginning
Medals are plenty not a few
Certainly you’ve paid your dues
I call you mother of greatness
Your success came from sweat buttress
You will always be at the top
Not feet, nonstop and never drop.

Eagle: Eagle’s Valor
Eagle’s strength
Equivalents
An Elephant’s weight
Valor is unborn
Valor is but worn
Have selflessness
Know your values
Know your worth
Stand up firm!

The Nigerian Dream

Title: The Nigeria Dream
Africa has killed her sun
Her flag has been torn
I pray for child unborn
And those who take turns
Rapping her page by page.
Let’s grab bulls by their horns
And put aside tribal marks
To elect a true Nigerian born
To restore our heritage
And revive our drying lakes.
For until a man of valor
No gimmicks, no gender
But with an agenda
Speaking one language
Across time and age
Irrespective of religion
And ethnicity background
Graces the helm of affairs
Our white and green shall shine
To the point of bedazzling sight
And faces shall wear a smile
As bright as the yellow sun
Onto Africa and the world…
But until that blessed day
I keep my fingers crossed.

Eagle: Decipher words
Decipher words
Truth and the hoaxes
In this small world
Are cute as foxes.
All that can burn
May not bring coal
But flames and ashes
Like those from woods.
So dance for me
When I say the truth
Like pump and plain
Just as it were.

Tone: Gape mouthed
Active and serious like an owl
With a forward looking gaze
Fixed and limited only on her
And her bedazzling presence…
Over the heel my head kneels
Ever since I was enchanted
By her; I began acting crazy.
Whenever the night seems so long
It is her sweet charming smile
That mysteriously turns the sun on
She drenches my heart in rich emotion;
When I explore her conformation
I get entertained by the sweetness;
Of sleeping beauty around my arm.

Tone: A plead to the air
Dashing out wide
Up goes all sizes
Against its weight
Love goes to air…
Windy wondering
Cool fresh air
Kindly blow us
Into an item,
Even when
The odds are high
Fix our match
To heaven made.

Tone: Heat of love
If romance taste so spicy
We have apples, in our eyes.
If it aches us, it is love
We both supply the eye-drop.
If the tears becomes an ice
We turn on the heat of love.
