Do not say adieu
When I ghost, to dust I came
I have got a book
Of dotted T’ and I’, printed
Clear and bold; easy to read.

Do not say adieu
When I am cold lying still
Read my disclaimer
Boldly titled; quiet eulogy
From a deep sweet word of tears

Say me no adieu
For we were never friends
Then why try to please
My drying bones, for nothing
Inside my home, ears are deaf

Say me no adieu
Nor sweetness for my bitters
Neither the vacuums
Should be false to please the ears
Sing me no beautiful praise.

If am what you say
Tell to face not when I ghost
Say welcome to me
While I breath, before you bid
Your last adieu when I leave…

If am what you say
Let me hear those kind words now…
Not in funerals;
Honor me while am awake
Not when I am in deep sleep.
