This is an art work, a painting by a Nigerian,Oresegun Olumide.
Finger you ring
Still slaps your face
The gifts given
Is stoned at you
Breath is a voice
Sweet words recited
Or sang can still
Explode like bombs.
I knew the world
Was cruel, I spent
More time in womb
Unknowingly
That no one can
Run from events
Wired and designed
To be, in life
Dreams, yes are real
But do not spend
More time sleeping
Lazy about
As cruel as it
May be; I still
Stay up that late
Developing
Myself, and I
For the future
Unpublished
As guest of life.
Yes we should stop sleeping and dreaming even If dreams come true. It’s sometimes…. May also call it luck

But I often ask myself, if to achieve greatness I was to pick between work and luck, what will I pick?

I stand for timing, there are times to take the bull by the horn, there are times to run.

I love this part. We need to be awake and ready for whatever comes our way. We can do that only by working on ourselves. Every day, little by little
