Please get the rice, get the sickle
Africans, we are all free people
Reading the same old page
Living in a white mans cage
On a tall tree, weaker and lighter
Reinventing the wheels for the later
A tree that has no solid stands
Dwindling to the whirling winds
Corruption comes as seasons come
And we forget roots where it is from
In a cage that is wide open to sight
Yet, Africans have refused to fly out.
