Eclipse of Shelter

I am a moon, never homeless
Or battered helplessly
Around the orbits of the sun.

When the earth, comes in between
Spreading darkness and all its twine
All I need when in ecliptic times

Is just a touch of travelling waves
Transcending from the yellow sun
In whose shadow, I find refuge

Knowing fully well, my shelter
Is the Sun, I stay resolute
Until darkness shall disappears.
