Shy inside a shell

Let the world hear your voice,
I know you keep to yourself
But what’s the need of a shelf
If there are no books inside.

Most eyes that loves shed some tears;
While residing inside for years…
Who will be left to comfort you
In days of the stormy nights,

The essence of having a shell
Isn’t only for nuts, or snails
To hide inside and never relate
Live life now before its late.

There will be no appreciation
Of your enamoring identity,
If self-esteem overprotection
Has a better side of your life.
