Flames of Calamity

City of Angels
Beauty display;
And for hustle
All men labored.

Above the sky
The blue colors
Made such a day
A kind to dream…

Motorist moved
But not until
A long truck lost
Control and brakes,

The tanker rolled
Fast down the slope
Ramming gas station
Where folks gathered

Blue sky turned black
As quake was heard.
The hawks convened
The vultures too…

From block to block
It consumed homes
Taking the souls
Faithful or not.

Rivers of tears,
Ocean of bloods
Boiled on and dried
Within the flames.

It destroyed hopes
Breaking the ropes
Of faith and dreams
As the globe shrinked.

Tragedy shared
Calamity’s
Catastrophe
From zone to zone;

How can life cope
When evil spreads
Unleashing hell
Over the earth.
