Tiger’s tail

Yellow black stripes all over me
Largest amongst my family
My teeth shines, sometimes bright
Sometimes dark, sometimes light
Sometimes beside a short eclipse
Shuddering, red fluid wets my lips
From the likes of buffaloes and deer
Who summoned me up to their dare.

Lions, Jaguars, Leopards you see
Are not me and are different from me
I am neither the domestic dogs
Chucking it down with kitty cats.
Pick up the hammer, I have a nail
If you grab me firmly by my tail
And I don’t bite you in such an anger,
Then you have to call me a loyal tiger.
