Tone: Cutting the cake

Let’s cut this cake, this road we take
Is so divine, no need to shake
Soon the young we, will hide inside,
Your soft tummy, I love to touch.

And from day one, will kiss them all,
Until they get used to our lips,
For all the nights, you miss your rest
Sorry for pains, you will go through.

And when they come, will celebrate
Treat them like eggs, watch as they grow
Let’s cut this cake, this road we take,
Is so divine, no need to shake.

Cutting the cake didn’t sound like the poem till one reads the poem and probably, the process of making the cake makes cutting it a wonderful experience.
