Nigeria: Suffrage of Prez

One man one vote, choose for your boat
Same story told by voices of toads
Professing love before they shove.

Earnings fall out, students shut out,
Water pricy, hardship spicy
Yet the broomsticks, they swing and flick

Umbrella tents and their pretends
Beckoning plebs with tongues of glib
Coming when the fibres need ret.

Along the road, my feet turn cold
Walking through paths the Prez pinholes
Coughed sweet words, that never was.

Artillery auxiliary
Hello people, country people
Are they your best bet off the rest

It is so clear many are blear
Feeble and weak please try to think
Before you rage and suffrage.

  1. Neemat says:

Brilliantly explained, I’m just sick of all the promises and all the rush of infrastructure put in place at the verge of coming election, I’m sick of backlash from opponents and what weakens me more is the fear of my vote and others counted “rigging”
