Nigeria: Suffrage of Prez

One man one vote, choose for your boat
Same story told by voices of toads
Professing love before they shove.

Earnings fall out, students shut out,
Water pricy, hardship spicy
Yet the broomsticks, they swing and flick

Umbrella tents and their pretends
Beckoning plebs with tongues of glib
Coming when the fibres need ret.

Along the road, my feet turn cold
Walking through paths the Prez pinholes
Coughed sweet words, that never was.

Artillery auxiliary
Hello people, country people
Are they your best bet off the rest

It is so clear many are blear
Feeble and weak please try to think
Before you rage and suffrage.

Haiku: Beauty Cavity

Beautiful, you are
A sweet trap, who will not fall,
Deep in love with you.

Haiku: Misinformed

Thought there were more to
The pecks, kisses and paramour
Till it pop the clogs.

Haiku: All but Wakanda

So sad, slave trade nicked
Africa into Marvel’s

Sonnet: Happy birthday love

In all astuteness
Bright as a new penny
You have this thing
That wine and dine as
A reflective power
Brilliantly shinning
Inside of my heart.

In all affectionate
You light up my path
I can see clearly now
Today’s God immaculate,
Happy birthday Ifeoma
My forever and a day
Sweet shinning albedo.

Honey; I need more
Of the enamoring paramour
In me; that you pour.

Haiku: Paramour

You possess me with
Inflaming love, illicit
Spell, that never rifts.

Haiku: Tribute to Don Williams

Playing without you,
Country songs, will not sound same
R.I.P. Williams.

Haiku: After Vows

Each time, the dawn breaks
By my side; up, you will wake
No more missing you.

Sonnet: One reason gray dies

She gazed at her waning self and wrinkled fist
As she pulled the trigger; “fool, idiot;
Why take our life,” her conscience muttered..
Gray but no one could seem to understand
The aged shoes she wore and where she stood
Bleeding inside underneath life crown
The world library isn’t expected to even drown.

The sky was falling, over her purple roof
Haunting her dead ahead until she poof
Her eyes developed multiple shades of red
From all the tears, and the inner wounds
Knowing old illnesses had pains with no cure
She penned her last word down, raw and pure
Stating, she gave up, so her seeds can grow.
