Lament on democracy
Two sides are the axis
In every question.
The only stupid question
Is the one never asked
When one end of the shore
Is infected by crowded greed
The other end not tread
Will be rumored as the cure.
Whereas both ends are paths
To the same governance fact.
Whether Hitler won or not
Dishonesty comes by default.
Don’t tell me of other homes
And how theirs have zero germs
Don’t tell me, who I am
Nor say to me, I am a scam
Ask yourself these questions
Are you in perfection
Do you hit fifty percent
Efficiency as a democrat?
I know you are not an Angel,
Our problem is not an emblem
But you and you among them
Who couldn’t win but joined them

Sonnet: Vinify 19 (My wedding day toast)
Purple and silver
Everyone glitters
April twentytwo
Today I walk down
The Aisle, is the
Beginning of bliss;
Sweet vinify wine
Happy we wear
Walking on air;
So crystal clear
Two destined hearts;
Fusing as one
So shall it be;
Till eternity.

Vinify: Goodwill Message
Oh we wanna thank y’all
For putting smiles on our face
For giving our slide a wedge
Without you, it would be flaw.
Y’all must have seen the ducks
Swimming over dirty muds
Swimming with no drop of sweat
Like victory comes out of luck.
But underneath the surface
Are their webbed feet paddling
Relentlessly to succeed
Yet such, shows not on their faces..
Y’all have been those webbed feet
Great foot soldiers, taking all
For our day to have a lift
Thanks, for making us stand tall.

Tone: Serene love
All birds love to listen
To their selves singing
Sweetly as they fly,
That the Satan cries.
The gospel truth, is that
Have heard many songs
But none as intense as
The sweet serene songs she sings.
Jealous is of the birds
For my baby girl
Shows the best love display
True and no delay.
She handles with kid gloves
My soft heart and soul
Times may come cruel and rough
But, her love is always enough.

Prayer to my Guardian Angel
Nothing is hidden
Under the Sun
I know you see all
My crimes and my flaws,
Am only human
Like one, I err.
I might have uttered
Tonnes of wrong words
Am on a chopper
In dimming skies
Turn not your lights off,
The world is dark.
My Guardian Angel
Please guard and guide
Leave me not alone
All on my own
There are Devil’s snares
Am so unsafe.

Sonnet: 9ja 9ja
Along the white
And the green
Blood, fraud and whorls
Now a dream.
Bad economy can make
Dishonesty
Taste like cake.
Moral values
Are low this time
Lower than a snake belly
Being good
Is now a crime
By any means,
Chasing money.

You are not Angel Michael
You are not
God or Michael
The War Angel
Respect tradition
Kola nuts served
Must be waged with funds
Palm wine in keg
Is specially served.
For every black
Dwelling on this land
You must have heard
Of covens and shrines
Simple advice
On supernaturalism
You may believe
Stories, you wish to
But don’t dare
The fallen angels
Nor try to chase
The Devil from hell
Run from trouble
Do not be the fool
That rush in where
Angels fear to tread.

The Strife
What the hell is wrong
Why do you so love
These discordances
Your left leg goes left
Your right leg goes right
All at the same time.
And the eyes gaze far
But focuses not at
What the pupil sees.
What the hell is wrong
Why do you so love
These discordances
Your both ears hear out
Everyone’s complains
And testimonies
But your mind and tongue
Keeps to words meant for,
Judgement, heeds and it.

Sonnets: Running ruined
Most times we try
But the discomfort
Comes to hunt us
With inflictions.
Pain in the ass
Break hearts like glass.
I know it is
What we stave off.
Yet it blesses us
In big disguise.
So why not bear
Until it fades
Bringing bright shades
That gladdens hearts.

Push further
Competition
Is tough, not as
Across the bridge.
Where people are
Discouraged or
Scared to venture.
Go extra mile
Success would be
A none denial.
