At times I think I am strong
Then a touching moment comes
And suddenly begins to prove me wrong
Slowly;
The stream of tears meets the rock
In my heart that never shakes
Sometimes I try to avoid eye contact
Slowly;
The ice eventually melts
Reducing my strength to tears
Crying rivers and immeasurable lakes.

Honestly, my heart meets this mostly while walking on the road, and i tell myself “Neemat! hold your tears, don’t do this your’e in public”
