Man from the year

This year brought tears
Ever raining
During times of,
Happy and sad…
But looking back
At the moments
I cried, some tears
Watered my seed.

This year brought forth
Many closed doors
Some I regret
Not passing through;
Bypassing doom
I realized that
Some closed doors got
Nothing behind

This year will end
Tonight by twelve
With a loud bang
And peoples voice…
Bamboozle, yet
We’re still mortals
Waiting for years
Come of an end.

Would the world ever end?

There was a time the earth was a new born
The first century soon became an ancient
Eighteenth century is buried in history

Party like it is nineteen ninety nine
Is now just an idiomatic expression
Soon twenty third century will be done

‘Save mother earth’, we all clamour for
As every religion speaks of a heaven
Would mother be happy when the trumpets blows

I see the seas and I wonder how the rocks
Conducted themselves all through the ages
Soon twenty third century will be done

What happens after the calendar reaches
The exponential nine nine suffixes
Would the whole world still be whole

Would the keepers of history be bored
Most especially would the forces of religion still hold;
Soon twenty third century will be done.

But after the fast speeding calendar
And short cycling time refuse to end
What stone would be left unturned?

If this writeup doesn’t make sense,
Then it is useless but remember
Soon twenty third century will be done.

Love as it is

You have cost me my sleep
And made my heart to beep
Thunder loud and like sheep
Foolishly I go deep.
I must have to mention
My dear, your complexion
Has a cool reflection
Causing a distraction,

I have made you my wage
My oracle and crave
Whether shackled in cage
Or in a great bondage
For you, I rather stay
Than turn and walk away…
I can not spend a day
Without your gorgeous rays.

Sick of inspiration

How long do I keep listening
To inspirations and advises
For finance to leave red ink
On outrageous sugarcoated lies.

How long do I keep reading
These motivational thoughts
When outside black and white, things
Are not easy as the scripts.

Undeserved outcome

I have laid good foundations
Refusing to get hands stained
Planning for guaranteed future
Where shuttles will be by planes.

I have covered all the bases
Avoiding unhappy end
Doting i’s and crossing t’s
Yet I never taste good end

But when I am unprepared
All my sticks fall into place
And my outcome are tripled
When compared to prepared race.

Is readiness obsolete
Or a glamorous retro
For it fetches the worst
Contrarily to my motto.

Derry on us

This Christmas is like the others
With a lot of thrills to gather
While the wildcats fly so high
With flashy four wheels in the sky
Spraying funds like dust do seeds
And as strays blown by the winds
Do not die to look successful
When you’re not, halfway to full.

As long as Sun shines forever
This Christmas will soon be over
Thunder strike in times of rain
All the rants sometimes make brain
You may ask the skulls in grave
Who went down for careless craves
Sultry voice could be an illusion
Be careful when making decisions…

Christmas ought to be honourably
Celebrated not vulnerably….
By the charming smile they wear
And the fancy things they share
Butterfly? why act an Eagle to belong
Count your teeth with your tongue
Do not go on making same blunders
This Christmas; just like the others.

Welcome to puberty

Darling, welcome to puberty
Age of maturity and liberty
In a world so damn beautiful
Filled with lots to grab and chew.

Darling, you have all it takes
To even cause an earthquake
Well, when harmful rays come out
Be fast and nimble to jump out.

Darling, as it all pronounces
Be ready for lustful glances
And as you fall in heart’s nest
Be ready for what may come next.

The road cries

Carols by the candles
Celebrating a cradle
Atmospheric wonders
Gives the heart a ginger
This is just the reason
The road cries this season.

Ribbons decorating
Christmas trees glittering,
Fireworks and knockouts
Are madness people front…
This is just the reason
The road cries this season.

With an intrigued pupil
The festivities pulls
People burning fossils
In their automobiles
This is just the reason
The road cries this season.

There are massive movements
Just to have that moment
A moment of Christmas,
And a new year at last;
This is just the reason
The road cries this season.

Dark Christmas

While your kitchens
Ooze fried chickens
And groceries
Are tall storeys
This Yuletide
I am that child
Compelled to cope
Having no hope
For baked salads
On Christmas day.

While your wardrobes
Are filled with clothes
As you complain
Of colours plain
And type of shoes
To match new gowns
This Yuletide
I am that child
That have nothing
But sad outing.
