Tight Corners

Once you get married
Family expands
A son and daughter
Parents acquire;
Please do not take
Me off my rocker

I have heard them say;
Blood is thicker than
Water, but between
Your parents and spouses
Who is the thick blood
And who is water?

It may be easy
To draw conclusion
Not until, you are
Caught between two stools;
Two favorites that
Costs an arm and a leg

Me, I love them both
So do not blame me
When you see me freeze
In situations
When I have to pick
Between love and blood.
