Two became one but
Under the same roof
We are both living
On different planets
Slowly the beats fadeouts
Our love seems to goof
Even when playing
We easily tear the nest..
Pouring a million words
Of abuses, quarreling
In our innermost hive
We burn our love page…
When people are gathered
We flip switch to acting
Romeo and Juliet’s love
All over the stage
We entertain the hall
They tag us lovebirds
We portray a rare gem
And eternal flame core
After the curtain falls,
We do not sustain beets…
But go back to mayhem
Like we were before.
This was me and my ex. If I had a $1 for every time folks told us we looked good together I could pay my mortgage off.

To remain together has one option:
– Fix it and end the fight.
If no,
Walk away.

“Even when playing
We easily tear the nest.”
That’s another good expression.
One minute two may laugh together, the next is like “Whoa, what even happened, did the barometric pressure just drop & bring a cloud of grumpy to the room?”
