Hot for all

We blacks got the body of a goddess
So soft as a fur, an all-round bliss
Even at eighty we will still be hot
Our hearts are the type, never to be hurt
Intimacy with us is a detoxicant
Our love have all eternal relevance
Longevity nature brings as we sprout
With a type of flame never burns out.
Beyond the walls of Earth we are the best
Even in the grave, we will still look hot
Our dark flesh are the type, never to be burnt
Hence God charged His Angels over our head
But the way we rock, turn, twist and fend
Makes even the Guardian Angels to feel lust
Indeed; we black colored skinned are the best.

Troubled couple

Two became one but
Under the same roof
We are both living
On different planets

Slowly the beats fadeouts
Our love seems to goof
Even when playing
We easily tear the nest..

Pouring a million words
Of abuses, quarreling
In our innermost hive
We burn our love page…

When people are gathered
We flip switch to acting
Romeo and Juliet’s love
All over the stage

We entertain the hall
They tag us lovebirds
We portray a rare gem
And eternal flame core

After the curtain falls,
We do not sustain beets…
But go back to mayhem
Like we were before.

Loving my dislikes

I stumbled on an art titled; next
Although I knew it was the best
I couldn’t compliment the Craft
Because it was hung on a bird’s nest

Oh yes, I knew she was the best
But I saw her, just like the rest
Demanding and troublesome girls
The type that could make life a hell…

Our conversation readdressed
All wrongs I had inside my head
From a word, sparkles started,
And I fell for her, hard and loud.

Love path

For your sake
I do anything
Empty lakes
With love you bring.

I will bear
All of your sins
Hell shall fear
The love you bring

Flames burning
Without delay
Consuming
Both dark and day

I care not
What People say…
Just pilot
My entire days.

Mary and Barry

Dozens of roses, she picked a lemon
From Saints and Angels, she chose a demon
If the Devil could meet a lady
Let’s say by ten, endowed as Mary
The evils on earth and in heavens
Shall come to an end before eleven.

But who would have even envisaged
Such could arise in this present age
When everyone is after money,
The looks and not the taste of honeys
Barry isn’t as cute as the Devil
Neither his pocket heavy and full

Dozens of roses, she picked a lemon
From Saints and Angels, she chose a demon
The reality of his fantasies
Materialized from her ecstasies
And since she wore the ring as his wife
Flowers bloom all the days of their life.

Fall to rise

I sowed to reap fruits
But got uprooted roots
I awaited helpers
Yet got more takers
Now more than ever.

Yes, I am frowning
For, I am drowning,
And so on my own
Trying to make home,
In full flesh and bone…

Outcome dock my tail
More I try I fail
And fall on wrongs slides
More turbulent tides
Never fail to hide

From hot pot to fire
Consuming desires
Seems like luck and I
Got issues somehow
That tears fill my eyes

If you are falling
Like I am falling
Free your mind, let go
There are times that holes
Are best to regrow.

Worry not that none
Assisted your corn
Seeds that fall harder
Decay, grow better
Richer and stronger.

Hazel’s Diary: She woke us up at dawn

It was about five thirty in the morning
On tenth day of march twenty twenty
The room was cool and conducive
Gradually, the journey to dreamland
Was fading and sweeter than ever.

Our heavy windows of vision were tightly closed
Preventing even the lightest of rays
So curled up on bed tucked in bedsheets
Outside, sunrise slowly dragged its feet
As we were reluctant to rise and shine

I bet the neighbors did just the same
Till out of the blues, came Hazel’s
First ever baby blab, way far from cries
Seems she was communicating to us
Smiling and repeating herself, like records

I bet she said: “wake, the sun is here”
Though we couldn’t comprehend what she said
Words can not explain how excited we were
Hearing and watching her express herself
Waking us up for the first time at dawn.

Hazel Diary: Treasured reflexes

I remember, your Moro reflex
How you stretched out those your tender hands
Like, ah Daddy don’t let me fall

You excelled in your rooting reflex
Whenever I tickled you, by your side
You turned, smiling wide, opening your mouth

Funny how you suck with great intense
Like mum will leave you unattended
I stare at you like, ride on my girl

Taking you outside, you closed your eyes
It seems the sun got nothing on you
Yes my child, you are also a star

And gradually from just a week old
You learnt how to firmly grasp my thumb
Raising you, you stimulate walking

Though I see how fast you are growing, Daily gaining weight as a result
Of your mother’s nutritious breast milk

I can not wait for you to be grown
So you can show me your stepping skills
Running around corners will be fun

The ossification of your bones,
Never looked better, than growing fast
Under mother’s love and caring arm.

Letter to terrorism

May calamity betide thee supporting ills
Beyond all reasonable doubt in crystal clear
Factually, if I were death, breath wouldn’t know thee.

Though opinion belong to all under the blue sky
Just like seeds, some are fruitful while others are not
Misleading and bearing forth Devils of stillbirth

I wonder what thou seeth in evil indulgence
And I curse the wind of death for not locating
And eradicating thee before thy cells swam

Winning the contest of a million sperm and eggs
Allowing black sheep to be born as advocates
Of negative change of defaults and narrative.
