My mountain labor brought forth a mouse,
When I climb I land in a doghouse
I seemingly fell to the devil’s bait
Tears and sorrows, were all I could create…
Outside the window, the rainbow stood out
Reminding me, my life was hell in a handcart
Upon each dawn, I was so declining
Not one cloud over me had a silver lining
It was as if I ran on sharp blades and knives
Chasing free cheese in the mouse trap of life
Head down, back against the wall, at the corner
I had almost let my ghost take over
Then I summoned courage to water a seed
And that was enough to bring me good deed.
