I am happy, I am pleased
Yet, I can’t even breathe
Guffaws not chuckles in bit
Seems I could even die of it…
Hormones grant me no bail
While laughing out for real
Choking on the Joker’s pill
And I can’t unseal the deal…
I am happy, and this so close
To dying of an overdose…
Higher my diaphram goes,
When my laughter gets arouse
I am happy, I am pleased
Rolling on the floor to pits
Air, lungs desperately need
Can’t stop laughing; it is so sweet.
If people could die on laughter or while laughing that would be something. This is a very interesting poem my friend. I don’t know if there is really sadness here or a bit of both sadness and laughter, either way it is a very well written piece. Sending blessings and love your way. Joni

Thank you Joni. The topic is vast. Neuroscience would expose all the potential hazards of laugher… not necessarily a bit of chuckle, a serious laughter could block the airway and possibly make the laugher choke to death… and this sorts of death is better than tears though
