Limerick: Protecting you
You appreciate life while running a race
Unaware that crossing lines, is all by grace
If only you knew,
That He thinks of you…
You will appreciate, His unknown face.
Sincerely I bet, none can ever count
The arrows He impedes at sleepless night,
And yet you backslide
With no shame to hide
Disregarding His pretty gift of breathe.
Your thoughts are wile, clock fast and occupied
Living for moments round and round the pie
Losing track of time
Making beets with lime
Gradually forgetting that mortals die.
Salvation is but a personal race…
Becomes the favorite line you embrace
While eating your cake
Whereas he stays awake
Ordering His Angels to guide your case
Haven’t you read Psalm 91 to the end
Honestly humans will give daily bread
Expecting to take
But He stays awake
Protecting you from things that want your head.

Limerick: No games
Amazing how the wind blows her long dark hair
Uncloaking her face, innocent and fair
Face of an Angel
The same ones that fell
Obviously, she is every man’s dream pair…
For her perfect desires, targets for dart
She seeks so many male friends to chat
Sampling amongst them
For who is most firm
I love her but, I can not play the part.
