Lab rats in gloom

Where has the sun gone
Where has the moon gone
Where has the stars gone
Anarchy is now a norm.
Not the snow you know
Nor water that flows
Since high hit the lows
Nothing at all seems to glow…
Staring at the doom
Weaving like the loom
Threads of gloom that bloom
In Face-mask entry room…
Dress to kill indeed
No one cares breed,
Color, or the seed;
Dumping all sects and creeds…
Case of flap or die
Birds no longer fly;
Now Vials from blue skies
Claiming to restore life…
Vessels in the dark
Alight Noah’s Ark…
Injected on marked
Passports; We are lab rats.

Rascals of pandemic
Nostrils runs, heartbeats rise
As the liquid in the eyes
Build and ready to pour
While waiting for a cure…
When squirrels have no nuts
They always believe not;
When a deer tells the lore
While waiting for a cure…
Some lament, some riot
Shooting autopilots
Thousands crash on the floor
While waiting for a cure…
Things will never be same
When both eyes have seen pain
That gains can’t procure
While waiting for a cure.

Corona: Sonnet for help
It seems that soon there will be no use of laws
For the streets are gradually growing claws
Not just the walking dead but human flaws
So we stay lockdown waiting for the rain to pour.
Many homes have leaking roofs and broken doors
Well, let’s not go to the sad welfare of the poor…
We will never forget in a hurry, a red world
And the year the air we breath become a rod
Striking not only those who went on tour
But unleashing the wrath of hell on every and all
Legends might call it, ‘humanity downfall”
Millions of people die in this invisible brutal war
And every day, we stare at the Heavens asking God
To forgive us; and to just, heal the world.

Corona: Masked
I wear a mask not to pretend
But to find peace, defending earth.
I wear a mask not for fashion
Nor for the fun but to save lives…
I wear a mask not to share the
Pandemic fears but to save lives.
I wear a mask hiding no pain
Nor the rains of cold tears within.
I wear a mask not to disguise
Or hide my eyes from my remains
I wear a mask like fish to fin
Though not to swim, but to save lives.
I wear a mask not against dust
Entering nostril but to save lives.
I wear a mask to protect me
And you and heal from infection..
I wear a mask against venom
Humans have formed from the dark clouds.
I wear a mask in case I breath
The wind of death, so I save lives.
I wear a mask not for a crime
But to buy time and save more lives.
I wear a mask for I am scared
The world could end if I unmask.

Corona: Amen
I got a red bone and a boiling blood
Not for China alone but wicked folks
Who sailed into the great shores of our lands
Knowing they are from endemic areas
They still chose to hide all their histories.
This is no regular poem but a curse
On my kneels, I pray unending evils
Should betide creators of this disease
Eating all it come across that breathes
Lord please grant my innermost request.
This is no regular poem but a curse
On my kneels, I pray unending evils
Should betide these blood sucking murderers
And all those who flew into Nigeria
And into other parts of this great world
Knowing they are sick and infected with,
Covid19 and no reasonable doubts
Yet they chose to share the hays and ashes
Of the world wild fire to innocent men…
Oh Lord please hear my prayers, amen!

World leader’s strings
I am only a girl
And I have been through hell
He holds me so closely
Caressing me dearly…
His grip is firm and huge
In him I seek refuge
I am like the musical
Cruel case of Africa
Playing to master’s touch
Whose kneel I made my couch
Symmetry in Nature
Altered in the future
Fetching nothing but pain
“Ti’s for the best”; he claims.

Corona: Blame China
Wuhan city makes me wonder
Why the Chinese licked fifth finger
And made the whole world to wash hands
Paying for meals they never had.
This is no racism but the fact
So who will help to bail the cat
Before it gets a little late
Blaming China for this plaque.
Not until my street was empty
I never saw bigger pictures
Of empty lungs and the vultures
Should humanity lose this war.
This war is biochemical
Not for guns or mechanicals
But obeying protocols, while
Blaming China for this plague.
Thousands go under the weather
The sleepless cities now slumbers
But once it hits the rural
Great Nigeria will be no more
On this earth we are all tenants
But why is man so much cruel
Destroying the home that they rent
I blame China for this plague
They know the devil they let loose
From Pandoras and test tubes
So stay lockdown in your abodes
Waiting for a miracle…
Every morning through the window
I stare at these empty streets
And fall back to my we pillows
Blaming China for this plague.

Corona: Tomorrow died yesterday
Armageddon is having fun
Ever since the blue skies collapsed…
Humanity hops, jumps and runs
Falling into core heat of hell
Where our hopes are melted by darkness
And a billion heavy eyes pour
On the pulpits I once believed…
Don’t tell me morrow will come.
The dark age has refused to end
Everyday across the world
The pandemic claims tonnes of souls
We await sunny days to come
When the world would be healed again
But how can she, when she is dead
And today is not guaranteed
Don’t tell me morrow will come.
God must have turned His back on us
Allowing wind of death have fun
With the overwhelming scores
Of gasping breaths and dried skulls
Even the great walls are falling
Like London bridge, deep into pits
Of shades they normally destroy…
Don’t tell me morrow will come.
Hurricanes accompanying pains
Pushed, shoved, subdued and blown away;
Our Almighty Guardian Angels
Have left us to our mortal fates
Across the world, we realize
That nothing on Earth is certain,
Until I see healed tomorrow,
Don’t tell me morrow will come.

Corona: Our Inhumanity
Would the sun ever regain her brighten?
Would corona coronation stop being heightened?
Yes, it is taking souls and instilling fear
No one wants common cough to come near
Just a mere sneeze yet we run fast for our dear lives
And at times I wish the pandemic truths were all lies…
Ever since we activated social distance, and lockdown mood
Stocking the entire house with stuffs and foods
The chances of death by malnourishment increased
The tiny flowing love in our healths suddenly ceased
Though both the rich and the poor became leveled
The greed and love of money refused to bend a kneel.
Man’s inhumanity to humanity is just beginning
The price of commodities are skyrocketing
All for the sake of the deadly virus combat
Which rumours have it that it came from Chinese’s bats
But that is not the topic I speak of right now
Neither is it the honest reason why I frown
Hold on, why is the mind of mankind filled with dark chars
Gathering wealth in times of war, everyone keeps going far
Obviously, humans and Devils are so much alike
Ever thought; “what if I don’t make it out alive
Would I take these money bags with me to the grave”?
If the answer is no; I see no reason for an inhumane crave.
