Like tall palm trees

The journey began as a joke
Till giant strides together yoked,
And there we stood, exchanging vows
Inner me smiled, exclaiming; wow !!!

Like a palm tree gallantly firm
Amidst the dust, and in the storm
Growing so tall, far from a fall
Never scared of heavy down pour

Instead making rich palm wine sap
And thick red oil that never slaps
May we never be affected
By seasons, no matter how red.

Diary of outputs

Verse I

When I had few teeth,
I loved hardcore

From the obvious,
I made some blunders

But not until
Anxiety had guns

And curiosity came
With bad results

Tantrums died
In blood and guts.

Verse II

Ladies as Angels
Sparked my plugs

Like the poets say,
Love is blind

Trauma is best explained
If experienced

I never knew love
Had a shark’s tooth

Until blood and thunders
Yielded heartbreak.

verse III

I built high walls
Taller than mountains

Anticipating
None to tear down

But the slightness
Of winds that blew

The blue clouds
And hunter green grass

Brighten while the
Red roses came scenting.

Verse IV

Competitions and
Blood in the water

Made me strong,
I guess Nature lectures

For as I thought
As a kid back in time;

….Mop the house
If there is ever a slime

Success is not a
A blood from stone.

Sentrybox of choice

I am sentry
So strong and meek
My booth and tree
Does often leak.

Oh yes I bleed
The gush of geek
Along the wind
Of blood picnic.

Outside I gaze
All days of weeks
The stars and haze
And all the reeks…

And when they fall
Bold as the cheek
An heavy pour
The hearts they strike…

I do not chase
After side chic
Over the face
Where dog do lick.

Parents blood

Rivers of life from parents
Flows deeply in thick veins
Carrying strains of greatness,
Stemming from the lines,
Of diabetic parachutes.

Yeah! We do not chicken out
From challenges but fight
The demons for our rights
With genes of our mothers
We are blessed like no other.

The thick red fluid of parents
Has big pants and big brains
Flying without feathers;
Making us the leaders
As our father’s very child.

Complicity

I change, I am not constant
Every day I change objects
Hoping not to be outdated.

If the night arise, I lit
A cloak of light to fight,
And quench the growing night.

When the cock decides to crow
With stars and moon I crawl
Into the otherside that brawl…

Creeping with reptiles of mine
My complicity shines,
Guilty of a creative mind.
