FOMO ( Fear of missing out)

Journey of life takes me to a place
Where life is calm and peaceful
Though, sometimes grasses go dry
But once the rains comes they sprout

I dwelled underneath a friendly sky
Inhaling fresh air on healthy diets
I have a plan, to live a genuine life
Hence I stay focus on my lonely track

But the wind keeps bringing pictures
Of friends who flip to another path
Where milk and honey falls from the sky
On hands whose feet are on greener grass

Everyone I have ever known now glows
Adopting different accents and richly postures
“YOLO – You only live ones” they scream
Creating FOMO – “fear of missing out” in me

Every seconds a new picture drops
I see, life is fun and party to them
Feels I’m an eclipse, hence everyday
I wait for the earth to rotate, so I may glow

Looking around me, I see just me
And it takes me under the weather
Feeling lonely and underachieved
I just hope I am on the right track.

Lagos

The horn blows loudest
In the city of Lagos
Land of opportunities

No one ever sleeps…
The yellow buses, street hawkers
Crowds arrive to take a chance.

The crazy traffic
Shines its beautiful magics
When lines fall in places as planned

Hustlers will hustle
And still make a low profit;
Clocks tick fast in Lagos town.

Tomorrow comes fast
Without even noticing
Yesterday was even dark…

With crazy rush hour
And the motivations fire;
Lagos life has its stories.

Looking back, at the
Beautiful city, often
Some lag while many progress

Some are saved by ticks
That hides all the ages that pass
While plebs yell; “Lagos… na wa!!!”

Simplicity

Simplicity

The best of all superlative, unloose freedom for eternity

A mirror of an everlasting figure

Little the fancy frisks understand from that they see

Yet hasty judgment they frame upon such good

No style fashion but a star of all styles

Yet an arcane role dedicated to the policy of the best

Complexity age and fades

But simplicity ages only but never fades

It praises itself

It is a good company

Mr. Simple says, only your enemies describes you the best

But I refuse to admit, that complex is far better than simplicity.
