Morbid and Moribund

I trusted the horse’s heel and dog’s tooth
To me, it was love that conquers all
Well, I have loved and I have lost
It is better than not to love.

I learnt cats in gloves catches no mice
So to cupid, I gave my heart
Which in turn, changed into a world
Round in circles it rotates me…

My light purse made a heavy heart
But I found solace in my tears
Only for wounds to resurface
It is better than not to love.

Just when I was swept off my feet
There came poverty in the door
Then the love flew out the window
And so I am, all moribund.

Cremated Heart

I know you truly
Love to see me smile
Giggling like a child
With nothing to hide…
If only we knew
When I was brand new
Maybe my sweet cake
Would have been your bake…

I know you truly
Would do anything
So I lighten up
And end the teardrops…
If only we met
Days before today
You would been the cure
To make me secured

I know you truly
Would for me take shots
Refilling lanterns
But it is too late
For, I have gone deep
Burnt beyond repair
Lost in thick dark smoke
No more dreams and jokes.

I know you truly
Would have rescued me
From my red shadows
And all my sorrows…
Here we are helpless
Stretching out our hearts
But I have evolved
Oh dearly beloved.

The true seduction

Who said none will get aroused
By seeing you off your clothes?
Take off your gowns let him see
Not nipples but brainy seas

Flowing through nudity
That gives you authority
In matters concerning hearts,
Seduction is who you are.

When it rains it surely sprouts
Your brain will always stand out.
Dear, why are you so bothered
That he may find another

With a more attractive hole
As time has taken a toll
And made you so grey and old;
True love got nothing with folds.

Note not all men will be moved
By sweet voice, and twisting curves
Coming for beds of climax
There are more to breast and ass

Adorable than cookies
Save your worries of cherries
A true love never gets cold
No matter wrinkles and folds.

Please do not be so angry
When I refuse to agree
That all men are bags of scum
Depositing packs of cum

In all girls that comes their way
If you need love that will stay
You must offer more than sex
Worry not about the rest.

Welcome to puberty

Darling, welcome to puberty
Age of maturity and liberty
In a world so damn beautiful
Filled with lots to grab and chew.

Darling, you have all it takes
To even cause an earthquake
Well, when harmful rays come out
Be fast and nimble to jump out.

Darling, as it all pronounces
Be ready for lustful glances
And as you fall in heart’s nest
Be ready for what may come next.

Sonnet: Breached

There is a river in my eyes
Taking me through sorrowful pains

How did light become unnoticed
Thinking of when the sky is blue

There was a spark, it connected
Together they both built bridges

Here we are torn, those days are gone
Bestowed upon us, are clay pots

Broken, though your absence still hurts
How can memories be forgotten….

Bruised and I have to erase you
Before I go beyond repair…

By the way, do you still love me?
Hope I wouldn’t be dumped again.

Reduced to tears

Have you taken trips down memory lane
Only to be wet by some past events
And tears spread over? You are not alone.

Do you remember the saying that goes;
“When you smile, the world will smile with you; but
When you start to cry, you will cry alone”?

Well, not so all the time, I will be there
There are some broken hearts that never mends
And such a tear is never shed alone.

You may try your best in controlling it
Till it finds a way, caving in like the rock
To the force of stream, finding its way home.

Let it out, from the endless thoughts
Deep inside, even Angels sometimes cry,
Some tears are infectious left alone.

Haunting memories

I never believed; I could fall hard from the sky,
Or dance to a love flute until you broke the yoke…
And made me, your own choice, though at first, when we met
Inside me had weird fears, but you made opaque clear
Then the doubts turned to faith burning flames no regrets
You turned my fantasies into realities.

You made me a better version on your shoulder
And became the sunlight shining bright in my life
But the fire left the stove when you took off the glove
Leaving me in this home on my own, like dead bones.
Every day, I replay memories that we shared
And these memories, brings back sweet memories

Looking at the broken mirrors, I see terrors
And the trauma of your absence keeps haunting me
Guess I let my guard down hence I drink till I drown
Inside bitter tears shed; thinking of things we shared
Wish you pick up the phone, although you are long gone
I will still be right here waiting for you my dear.

Chinese whispers

Where did love go? Do you want to know?
Maybe some stories are better untold
Love at first sight gave me a Chinese whisper
Changing from a whisper to another whisper..

The first said she did not love me
The second said, I should go on my kneel
She became my religion, I knelt and prayed
I fought tooth and nail for love to stay,

I gave her my soul but she refrained
Yet love kept saying; “she loves you this way”
Painting a picture of a cat’s whisker
Better than all my previous lovers.

Then at last, she cruelly broke my heart
And scattered the pieces over the world
Clearly, love made me a shadow of myself
Lonely in a house filled with people.

But most times I search through the window
For her even with tears on my pillow
I keep seeing her sweet charming face
Slowly winking at me and blowing a kiss.

Love at first sight gave me a Chinese whisper
Changing from a whisper to another whisper..
Saying she loves me, whereas she doesn’t
Know I exist, damn I am in a total dismal.

All covet, all lose

All covet, all lose
Karma sings a lot
Stop jumping from one
To another in town
Do better than sex
If you have to flex
Don’t toy with hearts
With axe, rocks and kites.

All and more were voiced
But he made his choice;
It is not as though
He never felt those
Soft as his pillow;
He could not swallow
His amazing pride
That fuels his sweet ride

Winning all laurels
For using their towels
Until he met her
And many of her
All covet, all lose
Karma sings a lot
Love he buys cheaply
Love he pays dearly.

Even the newborns grow
Filling polls that flows
An everyday shop
He has tried to stop
But there is a pull
From Adam’s apple
A longer throat thing
Wanting more of flings.

Sonnet: Hurtful tales of love

The sugary words he made to rhyme
Got her sky high, ground low at same time

Her heart skipped beats; compulsory task
Apples and flowers were all it basked

Fast as flash, there were nothing to hide
Then to open her loving gates wide

Love is a bright light travelling far
Forever to last, perfect to her

Eternal flame winter and summer
Till temptation brought extinguishers

Bitter and sour love began to taste
Undesired, the angels switched faith

Religiously believed; well, she was psyched
It wasn’t love but its look alike.
