My gold

Gold

If you were the rod
Straight, bent or round
Your shades will be gold.
Never you look down,
Walking down the road
None should make you fold.

You are the King’s crown
Better than silvers
And copper made bronze..
Don’t be misled
By social values
You worth more than those.

Silvers may reflect
The rays of sun light
But you are their fright.
A gold dust same as
Mega tonnes of diamonds
Sparking under light…

You are not an iron
So common in town,
Nor dark shades that rust.
You are not a wood
A bug food that rots;
You are made of gold.

Heavy, light or thick,
You are not a steel
Prone to fatigue.
You are the premium
Superior to all
Yellow shade to hold.

Evolution of black homes

Thatched roofs, red muds
Journeying through loads
Off skiff sniff of air,

Black husband met wife
Drank palmwines, swore oats
And made love in huts.

Their darts on the cliff
Had a bond and grip…
More of an eclipse,

Beyond wealth and fames
Beyond grains and games
Like a seed to rain.

Now roses are withered
Now hearts have hatred..
With rings blinking red.

The home that was stiff
Now dethrones Chiefs
As love falls asleep.

The huts disappear
Along with bare trees
As a black man’s home

Have many torn foams;
With these black ladies
Plotting to break bricks.

Tales Of A Wife: She Can’t Wait

she can't wait

she can’t wait

She is an accident of nature
Totally beautiful from head to toes
She once stood next to him
Things are certainly not as before
She can’t wait because he is not Bill Gate

This girls voice is still an organ in his soul
She knew his voice, the smell of his soul
That; that shines, no longer brightens their souls
She looks into the future with eyes of fear
The man she sees got Wills she thinks are mere wishes.

She just can’t wait
To join him complete his paintings
She doesn’t want
To be an old beautiful lady
Sitting next to him in a work of art.

Though all wives are married
Surely, not all married are wives
Tears on her eyes
She still looks into the future with eyes of fears
The truth she sighs, she just can’t wait.

Love, Never Enough

Love like Money
Takes time
Love like Honey
Taste fine
Love likes the Devil
So stays blind
Love likes Heavens
Soul plane high
Love like Poisons
Makes drowning caskets
Love like Medicine
Makes a dunk shot
Please kill not yourself Romeo
Because you’ll never get enough.

Uncontrollable Emotions

Uncontrollable Emotions

Keen the whole lot,

Have you seen Adam’s Eve?

Killing every great-whale

She’s an obvious thumbscrew

Twisting and clogging hearts off service.

An invisible enemy, she’s a friend

Passionate and blinding

Killing all great-whales

With uncontrollable emotions

And a Jurat weakness

Just like law, keen the whole lot.

Acquitted or sentence to death

She’s the jury charges

Hammering desk with pictures

Stamping a gap in the castle walls

She’s a friend, an invisible enemy

As beautiful as garden trees

As tall as those found in moist habitats

Nevertheless,

She’s as vulnerable as fuel.

Tales Of A Wife: Soul Mate

The Ring To Tangle

Soul Mate

Soul mate

I hear her even voice

As comforting as rest of mind

Engaging like a busy day

A smooth fond of powder

A naked goddess attraction.

I see her spotless face

Dirt hating,

Enriched hair, neck, body and legs

Exaggerating beauty my body’s buddy

Just what the doctor ordered.

I feel her pillow touch

So soft

Succulent tasty juice

Like birds to air

Her lips, my perfect pair.

I always reach for her

On phone, life and even in dreams

Odds to the dreams

For in dreams

My arms clutched empty air.
