By the door
On my breastplate
Was a note
With the lines,
I fell in love…

I was at war
But still rejoiced
For the light
Shun bright
Inside my room.

As small as it is,
…. I love you
Was it all
Yet powerful
And captivating,

But as time past
The writings became
Ordinary,
Blurred and bored,
Or so I felt.

And I planed
To take down
The note and
Recreate, something
Much more fun…

I changed the look,
And when I did,
The dust rose
The rains fell
Harder than ever

My brushes
And rollers
Were strong
And the paint
Came out fine….

Feeling the new
Breathe of fresh air
I felt, arrived
But thunder stroke
And Earth shocked

The dawn refused
To come up
Darkness thickened
Like a starch
Inside my breastplate

I learnt the hard way
That I love you
Was the full moon
That gathered light
Into my room.
