Celebrate my love

Jesus is to Christmas day
What you are to today!
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

I will like to let you know
That you worth more than gold
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

Your beauty is both in and out
Our family is blessed to have you
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

You are my natural Highness,
And my sweet comforter
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

Even this birthday smiles,
Because you are amazing
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

Cheers to my lovely wife,
Today kick starts a greater height
Happy Birthday to you my love!

Ghost lovers

You are my past
And my future…
My religion
On the mirror
My reflection
Portrays your beams.

Togetherness
Looks beautiful
On you and I
Like the sunrise
With you, I feel
So damn alive

But without you
I am like a
Withered flower
And my shadow
Runs fast away
From my body…

There are two worlds
And we reside
In none of them
Yet we exist
Stalk in between
Dwelling as ghost.

Sonnet: Compromise of love

Like food filled in spoons
Cuddles scoops romance…
Filling the bowels
With a million tonnes
Of dancing butterflies.
Even as one’s dislike is
An interrupted sleep,

When awoken by lilting sound
Nor the pleasant smell
And healing touch of love,
No one would get mad at all.
It all seems thus, love makes
Both likes and dislikes
So counterproductive.

Love as it is

You have cost me my sleep
And made my heart to beep
Thunder loud and like sheep
Foolishly I go deep.
I must have to mention
My dear, your complexion
Has a cool reflection
Causing a distraction,

I have made you my wage
My oracle and crave
Whether shackled in cage
Or in a great bondage
For you, I rather stay
Than turn and walk away…
I can not spend a day
Without your gorgeous rays.

Welcome to puberty

Darling, welcome to puberty
Age of maturity and liberty
In a world so damn beautiful
Filled with lots to grab and chew.

Darling, you have all it takes
To even cause an earthquake
Well, when harmful rays come out
Be fast and nimble to jump out.

Darling, as it all pronounces
Be ready for lustful glances
And as you fall in heart’s nest
Be ready for what may come next.

Unsealed

Speech unspoken
Leaves have fallen
Hot now frozen

We do not bind
Yet, love is blind,
Blowing out minds.

Our hearts are clays
On a display
Cracking both ways..

It is a shame
We quench our flames
Passing the blame.

After the lies
And thousand times
We lost the sparks

We still do fight
In dark and light
Shredding our hearts.

Tight Corners

Once you get married
Family expands
A son and daughter
Parents acquire;
Please do not take
Me off my rocker

I have heard them say;
Blood is thicker than
Water, but between
Your parents and spouses
Who is the thick blood
And who is water?

It may be easy
To draw conclusion
Not until, you are
Caught between two stools;
Two favorites that
Costs an arm and a leg

Me, I love them both
So do not blame me
When you see me freeze
In situations
When I have to pick
Between love and blood.

Note to our parents on our wedding day

We belong to you
So, do not bother
Families are rays
In beams, but love has to pave

We have to leave you
To cleave each other
You have been a tray
Carrying us all our lives

We have to leave you
For a new chapter
But blood never sways
You are still part of our lives

We belong to you
Now more than ever
But in different ways
Thanks for the blessings you gave.

Ifeoma my lover

I live for you
And it is true
You make the sky blue
You fill my lungs
With clean fresh air
I love you so dear…

For you, I dive
Facing my fears
Reasons I can die
My mind, you blow
Like stream it flows
But two ways, it goes

And in beauty
Your body is
An authority
But, you still chose
Despite my flaws
To stay and to love.

One plus one is one

Looking from a contrasting view
One would wonder what is special
In enjoying something very much…
They say; only fools fall in love

Things we do when we are in love
Do not need good sense or judgment
If you never love, you can never
Comprehend the mysteries of love.

I guess, at some point, in our lives
We become the blind, crazy fool;
What would you rather do, when two joins
Defying maths to become one.
