Marriage: An unforgettable love

I can’t forget you
You turn me around
Like wheel and axle
Your voice has a sweet sound
Body, blazing like hell
I can’t forget you.

I can’t forget you,
Your smiles and gestures
Always uplifts me
Now and in the future
My mind is where you be;
I can’t forget you.

I can’t forget you
Even when am grey
And memories fades
Lost, I will find a way
Through thick and thin, like cade
I can’t forget you.

I can’t forget you
And your warming clench
Holding on to me
In ways no hands can reach;
With kind words you touched me
I can’t forget you.

Like tall palm trees

The journey began as a joke
Till giant strides together yoked,
And there we stood, exchanging vows
Inner me smiled, exclaiming; wow !!!

Like a palm tree gallantly firm
Amidst the dust, and in the storm
Growing so tall, far from a fall
Never scared of heavy down pour

Instead making rich palm wine sap
And thick red oil that never slaps
May we never be affected
By seasons, no matter how red.

Vinify: Goodwill Message

Oh we wanna thank y’all
For putting smiles on our face
For giving our slide a wedge
Without you, it would be flaw.

Y’all must have seen the ducks
Swimming over dirty muds
Swimming with no drop of sweat
Like victory comes out of luck.

But underneath the surface
Are their webbed feet paddling
Relentlessly to succeed
Yet such, shows not on their faces..

Y’all have been those webbed feet
Great foot soldiers, taking all
For our day to have a lift
Thanks, for making us stand tall.

Haiku: Deeper than depth

Aw..! I fell for her
Billion feet is shallower
Unlike mine for her.

Tone: Mrs me

Satisfaction is the result
Sandwiching the gigantic cake
That she effortlessly bakes.
These love portions are the sweetest
So authentic far from fake
Someday she has my name to take.

Father and daughter dance

Hey! dear daughter
You changed my life
The day you came.
I kissed you first
Even in womb
Sad, you can’t
Remember that.

Butterfly kiss
Had left the mark;
“I love you first”
Before you spoke
I watched you crawl,
Staggering while
You walked and ran.

Oh…! how time flies
Watching you grow
Into today
Along the aisle
For another man
Guess another son;
Daughter’s father..

So beautiful
Every girl wish
For such a bliss
Another man
Come grabbing you;
You have grown up
So fast, my child

Underneath my nose
Let’s dance dear
For, I saw you
Little, my girl
Do not blame me…
You will do, the-
-Same to your kids.

Sonnet: Twenty second April (22-04-19)

It all began reluctantly
My trap caught fish in an ocean

Love at first sight, definitely
Grew in words and in actions

All the questions I asked gently
“Yes, I will”; that was the portion

Walking the aisle; seriously?
Baking cakes for celebration

Who would have guessed accurately
That you will be my possession

Good for me, emotionally
I had this strong obsession

My heart purring; affectionately
Without you; it ceases to function.

Long list…

Son, here is the list
Of all that you need
My daughter is good;
Far deep in some tribes
Canes are used on backs…

Son, why have you left
Where did you stroll to?
… I didn’t leave you
… I never stroll out
But I went outside…

Behind your house
To count all the sands
Below the blue skies
And the twinkling stars
I bring for a ring.

Matrimony

Matrimony

The dove passion unties the hearts

Pretty wings flaps and fly

Up in the sky, love is an arithmetic grocery

The devilish prowlers dare not square-root fervor

Whitish cloud, what a lovely smear

Instrumental drums, glowing Angels smile

The seconds splitting stars beautifies the galaxy,

The sun prays, as an Index finger sockets the rings

Unto matrimony the sworn oats are to addition only

Seraphs of subtractions stay-off

Fruitful multiplication not division

The devilish prowlers dare not square-root passion.
