Corona is karma

I have a dream, and in that dream,
Apocalypse made reverse flip
She flooded streets, with a reset,
Giving them back all in their bank

Accordingly, appropriately
Cutting sockets, kicking buckets
Lots of bodies, foes and Buddies,
Were stacked like logs, and scared of bugs…

“Dirt kills not an Africa man”
Oh sorry, not those type of men
Who corruption has eaten deep
Beyond depths meant for sinking ship

Now, the center hold not anymore
Beans are empty in cooking pot
And our Hopes are dead in weevils
I heard someone casting Devils

All blames they pushed but he stayed put
In hell, watching landing birds pooh
He had no hand, sins of our land
Exhumed from sands from end to end

Wedges were down and mere touchdown
For personal gain, and golden crowns
Then borders crossed, the virus tossed
Dirt we overpowered, now kills us

We fight world war three, without arms
Which all began from the pigs farm
And self enrich but now they itch
Even as they could turn to fish

With ten fins and bladders to swim
The tears that rain pours out cruel pain
Coming from drugs and outside laws;
Stay far apart; stay sanitized

More than a gun headshot begun
Aiming at rich lessons it teach…
I have a dream, and in that dream,
Apocalypse, had many flips.

Fall to rise

I sowed to reap fruits
But got uprooted roots
I awaited helpers
Yet got more takers
Now more than ever.

Yes, I am frowning
For, I am drowning,
And so on my own
Trying to make home,
In full flesh and bone…

Outcome dock my tail
More I try I fail
And fall on wrongs slides
More turbulent tides
Never fail to hide

From hot pot to fire
Consuming desires
Seems like luck and I
Got issues somehow
That tears fill my eyes

If you are falling
Like I am falling
Free your mind, let go
There are times that holes
Are best to regrow.

Worry not that none
Assisted your corn
Seeds that fall harder
Decay, grow better
Richer and stronger.

Hazel’s Diary: Watching Baby Hazel Sleep

At times she cries, but my grip
Gently rocks her into sleep
There are many places I love
Her to sleep, but all above
There is a wonderful way
Hazel sleeps at night and day
That gives me gigantic joy
Watching her rest without roil;
On my capable shoulders
As her dark eyelashes flutter
Wishing not to grow older
Under my arms and shoulders.

Could it be her striking pose
Or the way she placed her nose?
Whichever it is, she brings
Joy as a gift to my ring
And a fresh sweet morning breath…
In all dimensions, she scents
Like Rose in her cradle bed
Showering us love instead.
O what a wonderful way
Hazel sleeps at night and day
Wishing not to grow older
Under my arms and shoulders.

While sleeping she slowly smiles
Like the Angels in lala lands
Blew at her, a million kisses
Baptizing her compliments,
For the love her parents pour
Has no rival, claws and flaws
Hence, when she burst into tears,
She can swear, we will be there,
There are many places I love
Her to sleep, but all above
Wish she would not grow older
Under our arms and shoulders.

Hazel’s Diary: At three weeks

Ever since heaven smiled on me
With an Angel I hold and rock
My life has been so beautiful,
I wrap my arms around her tight
I stare at her all through the night
I get butterflies when she smiles
Today Hazel is three weeks old.

The dawn arrives when she wakes
Loving care never pumps brakes
For it brings joy side by side
Filling my heart to brim with pride
Hence I let nothing bother my child
There goes my beautiful jewel
Today Hazel is three weeks old.

I keep her safe and count her toes
I slide my fingers down her nose
I kiss her forehead, cheek and lips
I reach out to her when she turns
Throwing her glove fist in the air
The look in her eyes says; I love you
Today Hazel is three weeks old.

I watch her stretch her tenderness
While she yawns in innocence
All she does is suck, sleep and shit
Fourteen slash two, is Valentine’s day
But my love for her is everyday
Standing by her in tears and joy
Today Hazel is three weeks old.

Hazel’s Diary: Cradle cuddle

You make me look stupid
Losing my composure
I am privileged having
You, that I am sure…

Your magnanimity
Can not be measured
It makes the stars to
Lose their cynosure.

Hotter than the Sun
It is my pleasure
Holding a beautiful soul
Covered from exposure

By a spotless nascent skin
Fresh and soft in texture;
Nothing beats the feeling
Cuddling my own treasure.

The lookalikes

From the rocks of all ages,
I can not distinguish
Parent birds and offsprings
New blood always become
Everything genes speak of

But how do lovers choose
A lookalike for rings,
When taking the glove off
Further bending the truth
That; “one plus one is one”

Many differ from Adam
But after knotting ties
They get two gifts in lieu
One from kids of the womb
Second comes up in grey.

I have seen a balance
From produce of unions,
Between mother and child,
Yet at the other edge
You see features of dad.

If you are Mr. Thomas
Take a walk down the park
Watch families merry
New blood always become
Everything genes speak of.

Life after graduation

Million candles burnt
To realize a dream
I was the best there was
And I knocked giants down
Back in school days.

They really craved to be me
And have all skills I acquired….
But each time they attempted
My steel fist sent them packing
Back in school days.

Definitely I was born
To become the greatest of all
Even the thunder trembled
And Earthquake feared me,
Back in school days

But now fast forward
To the days way after
My blood and sweat poured
Just to reach the peak, after life
Back in school days.

Upon getting there, I discovered
That the world was peaceful
For a Warrior of my skills
And I couldn’t fit in like I did
Back in school days…

The more I tried to communicate
I sounded like an Alien
And I had to bend a kneel for
The leaders, the same folks I won
Back in school days…

But a voice whispered in my ear,
“My dear, you are a warrior
Jobless or not, to be a warrior
You do not need war, like
Back in school days”.

Two homeless men

Everyday I walk by
The road where you made a home
Under the sun and moon light
You seem not worried at all
I see your barefooted print
A thousand miles, yet you smile.

Everyday I walk by
The road where you made a home
I see you catching a nap
With no mattress and pillow
I wonder how you got here
As an image of sorrow.

Everyday I walk by
The road where you made a home
I see you clear like crystal
But I say no word to you
I baffle how you manage
To squeeze in bins when it rains…

Everyday I walk by
The road where you made a home
I wish I could talk to you
Perhaps help you in any way
But I am like you, homeless
And my life is torn apart.

Celebrate my love

Jesus is to Christmas day
What you are to today!
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

I will like to let you know
That you worth more than gold
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

Your beauty is both in and out
Our family is blessed to have you
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

You are my natural Highness,
And my sweet comforter
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

Even this birthday smiles,
Because you are amazing
Why wouldn’t I celebrate?

Cheers to my lovely wife,
Today kick starts a greater height
Happy Birthday to you my love!

The death race

Run, run, it all begun
The second we were born
Endeavor to have fun,
Because, we will be gone
Away from varying slates
At some point in this race
According to our fate
We shall be called, “it or late”.

Run, run, it all begun
The second we were born
Endeavor to have fun,
Because, we will be gone
Into a distant land
According to God’s plan
So live life like you can
Today hop on the van.

Run, run, it all begun
The second we were born
Endeavor to have fun,
Because, we will be gone
To a place from the clay
And illusions of rays
Coming from yesterday
It might be yours today,

Run, run, it all begun
The second we were born
Endeavor to have fun,
Because, we will be gone
Dwelling in shadow’s scene
Swimming in fearless stream
Yes, it is finish line;
Realm of forever dream.
