Womb Prose: Talking to the unborn

Hello, what would you do for fun,
In few months time, you will be born
Now your heartbeats, sound so sweet
I’ve seen your kicks and summersaults
Can’t wait to hold your tiny hands
On your cradle, innocent glance.

Womb Prose: Pregnancy line

When it rains, rainbows appear
When bumps come, something appears
It is a thick tiny dark mark
Vertically dividing the stomach

First it comes as a whitish line
And then begins to darken the line
How wonderful it is to say
A new life would be born someday

From linea alba to linea nigra
I kind of see a spiritual era
It was unnoticed some time ago
Until the bump began to grow

I was told; after birth it disappears
Could it be the path souls pass
Running from navel to pubic bone
Its function is still unknown

Womb Prose: Axle Sonnet

Mum missed her visitor for a week
Then first trimester came in so quick.

Although with vomiting and fever
Not your fault, so don’t you bother.

Daddy can’t wait to hold your arms
Tiny five fingers and cradle charms.

You are the gift that completes his pack
Your cool heartbeat kept pulling him back.

So intrigued at your mother’s big round pot;
The new sweet look that she did begot

Gaining weight and looking beautiful
Although in pains, till day she births you.

Mummy can’t wait to push the axles
So prepare for contracting muscles.

Growing small bumps

First sight attraction,
I swore you’re fine

Our gestures and signs
Made sweet interaction.

Then sticks fell in line,
Small bumps progression

I see love, passion
Fresh morning wine,

And outward shine
Of inward affection

As our possession
That keeps growing fine.
