Stand up black nation

If not for the whites who came
Trading us and our resources
We would have ruled the world
But here we are undeveloped,
Shredding like animal’s furs
Hitting hard on mother soil.

We brag about being great
Better than the white folks:
Are we factual with this?
I hate to hear excuses
When we can, right the wrongs
Of the generations before us…

I love my dark complexion
I am proud of the black nation
But we should buckle up
And not blame the white faces
Nor blacks that sold our race
Several years ago…

Yesterday is but history
Today we are here breathing
What are we doing at the moment
To build the great Nation
We sing about in musics
Telling tales by the moonlight.

Vulture’s politics

There are lots politicians have to prove
Can I ask, what motions do they move
Every time the smoke gather up above
Monies keep falling from the sky
Our parties they lit, fun multiply
Roasting doves and our butterflies

Their golden shoulders go up and brag
Fetching cameras while changing rags
Spraying all from the duffle bags
A million tongues go pouring
On them; blessings upon blessings
Singing we worship them not knowing,

They recollect the monies they spray
From our very pockets and future hay
While our people keep dying everyday
Of hunger and abject poverty
Yet with our taxes they gather properties
Every four years, they claim we’re their top priority.

Staying at the top

You desire to build a perfect home
Halfway through, the end never comes
Hoping to outgrow the middle life
Unknown to you, you got peace of mind.

Building ridges, you nourished the plans
But allowed impatience scatter the sands.
Craving for crazy conspicuous wealth
But I see beyond, to what would be felt

Forcing a way to be part of the creams
Building bridges to connect the dreams
In speedy way, far from the organics
Leveraging, but I see future panics.

Road to success needs bravery fight
But when moments arise you chicken out
On the first sight and upon hearing sounds
You did not make it through the first round.

Now you have failed, take a step at a time
I can assure you, it would all be fine
Getting to the top comes with blemishes
Hurtful pains, tears, hitches and glitches

Thus; your objective would be to maintain
The new found status in the hall of fame
Snatch your victory from the jaws of defeat
I know you are capable of achieving heights.

Life’s cruel knife

Strength of the bird is in the sky
Most road do not have warning signs
As the raindrops fall from the sky
So does it evaporates too
No man has been completely through
Capacity of wise and fools
One thing I have learnt about life
Is that, it has all manners of knives
It uses to cut all classes of life
To an equilibrium, of birth and death
Even in terms of dues and rents
Everyone has to pay for breath.

Dead before honor

I have got a mix of cold and fire,
So in need of a million naira,
To help fulfil innermost desires

Sadly I keep getting failed promises
My calls they all deliberately miss
Should I die now, there will be a bliss

Many would cry for me childishly
When am laid, they would smile sheepishly
Feasting and spending so lavishly.

Over a stile

Today was one of those crazy days
That seems so bad, I wish I could fade
Into the air and just hide my face
Beside me I saw cups of water
Filled to the point of running over
Withholding content, sought by others
Living the life under the sky blue
Where the power and fame are but few
Mind hard as a rock, hands thighly glued
Not until selfishness is removed
Impoverishment would always strove
I thought, pity is akin to love
Until I met a lame dog in stile
His condition made the rocks to cry
Yet none rendered help, they all passed by

Frontiersman

Do not tell me to dream big and wide
Especially since you’re not inside my head
Dreams are urges that makes me to cum
It fills the bottomless pit and drums.

Never am I scared of mountains and hills
I chase dreams but dreams keep chasing me
I wait for my moment to shine so bright
Patience is virtue, but the trees fell flat

I will keep on dreaming, chasing a holy fame
Under my nose, wet woods that cheated got blazing flames
The conspicuous consumption life they found
” Keep the change”: has become their favorite word…

All of the beautiful wonders I have fantasized,
Could make breathe great but failed to materialize
Hello, are these my fragile feet on a right track
Should I pump the brakes, take a bow and then retract

Changing my fantasy route, to suit the hustlers
For all the world is crazy, favoring dirty gamers
Submerged in tears, I await heaven’s final judgements
but what if, I mean what if there are no end judgments?

Womb Prose: Talking to baby

Many kicks, many pains to battle
Mummy complains; “please be gentle”.

You make me beat my chest; “am the man”
You are my future number one plan.

Lemme go on to catch a grenade;
Love I got for you will never fade…

Allow good genes translates sweet berries
A future without you is barren…

Can’t wait to hear you call me daddy
Call mummy too, she is gladden.

Riding for Nature

Wrinkles seek no consent
Before it penetrates

Staying young is a race
No one can win the chase

I asked, where lies my fate
When I go grey and late

All beauties have a phase
But none can keep a pace

So now I ride my horse
Not to put coin in purse

But to give thanks to God
For this beautiful world.

Womb Prose: Rays of Beams

Do you sleep while you tumble
Do you kick when you struggle
Is the sack getting smaller
Is the fluid getting lighter….

We will not let you wobble
You are our fun and bubbles
Is it now getting darker
Or are you feeling fever…

There is a bridge joining ends
Rainbow color, perfect blends
The mouths to sing the sweet hymn
Your womb escape is our theme…

Saw your curl through ultrasound
Heard your heartbeats drumming loud
You completed the tag team
You took our rays as your beam.
