The situation
Hey, do you know not all in armour
Shinning are Prince Charm to adore?
Even a beast bald, ugly in clothes and bare
Is far better than cute deceitful teddy bear.
Nothing hurts more than hearing goodbye
Each time your love is unable to buy
Pearls and diamonds yet like a fairy
Which you are, you turned obstacles into ferries
But your wishful thinking dies in paradise
Before your eyes while it all gets jeopardized.
Even with unending tears you endured pains
And persistently begged your dearest to stay
Yet nothing flows, her presence is never close
Inevitably, she never hesitates to say no.

Hazel’s Diary: 7 months old
Upon every new dawn
You seem to become more fun…
Growing so swiftly in strength
And good healthiness as well…
In all forms and dimensions
I can possibly mention…
Seriously your wonder
Often makes me to ponder
How charming you are in jeans
While dressed up in my genes
As you clock seven months old
May your blessings not miss road…
My sweet beautiful love bug
My love is more than mere hugs.

Reasons to run (I)
From the point I see;
Viewing the blue sea
Fishes swim freely
But some are silly
Drowning into tracks
Of hooks and sharks.
I am not saying
That love is worthless
I still remember
Love is forever,
But the brave ones die
And foolish ones lie,
When cupids beguile
And leaves scars behind.

Old television statics
I know before the box got vision
Arena had their own attraction
In my case, we had the village square
Years ago way before I inhaled air.
But I remember, when I was young
Although it isn’t rock age so long
Well, not every home had TV set
The black and white picture was the best,
Each time the signal thus disappears
The white and black random dots appear
Hurting an anticipated lens
Its sounds amplified the night silence
I can not forget in a hurry
It was like snow and garri falling.

Sonnet: Choose your status
I have seen all spoons
Some are silver made
And others are not…
I have seen all stoves
They all have same pots;
Some are filled with golds
Others are mere stones…
I have seen their tasks,
Their true potentials
And varying taxes…
I realized,
Life gives us blank cheques
To choose our status
And lifetime wages.

World leader’s strings
I am only a girl
And I have been through hell
He holds me so closely
Caressing me dearly…
His grip is firm and huge
In him I seek refuge
I am like the musical
Cruel case of Africa
Playing to master’s touch
Whose kneel I made my couch
Symmetry in Nature
Altered in the future
Fetching nothing but pain
“Ti’s for the best”; he claims.

Hot for all
We blacks got the body of a goddess
So soft as a fur, an all-round bliss
Even at eighty we will still be hot
Our hearts are the type, never to be hurt
Intimacy with us is a detoxicant
Our love have all eternal relevance
Longevity nature brings as we sprout
With a type of flame never burns out.
Beyond the walls of Earth we are the best
Even in the grave, we will still look hot
Our dark flesh are the type, never to be burnt
Hence God charged His Angels over our head
But the way we rock, turn, twist and fend
Makes even the Guardian Angels to feel lust
Indeed; we black colored skinned are the best.

Sonnet for a goddess
I used to think, beauty had a key
Unlocked by wealth and artificial quay
I never knew goddess exist, I assumed
Most beautiful girls in town were doomed.
I saw them as prostitutes that got laid
Until my presumptions finally failed.
I didn’t just meet beauty but a good lady
Tall like the hills and body hot like chilli
Her thick hips were round like an arc
In her acts, I saw a godly covenant ark
Hence I fell at her feet to worship her
Not just for her unforgettable wonders
Neither for her ravishing and freezing gaze
But; because she gave me a brand new phase.

Sonnet: Never Were
Fighters wear gloves to win
Trophies thrown in the bin
History tells of things
As it pleases, versions told.
Forgetting roots that hold
Forgetting ray but beams
Life is, a funny dream..!
Miserable but it seems
To have coat some sweet cream
And others bitter trims
Oh life is a short film
In case, it starts to dim
Don’t you fight or scream
At the end, no one wins.
