Sonnets: Marry you, some day…

I know your dad do not like me
And I know your mum detest me

I used to have this self control
Avoiding critics and their trolls…

I am in love, it is a fact…
At the paradise of my heart,

Where I ought to apply caution
Lust’s sentiments and obsession,

Makes my head go over my heels
And I don’t care what they feel…

Even when it is all taboo,
As long as it is all for you

Cats will always look at the king
But no setback will break my ring.

Frail behind pictures

With you I saw into the future
It was awesome and so assured
And around your arms I felt secured.

We were strangers although not for long
Gradually I mastered the contours
Around your hips, details I could draw

Just like the plants fed with good manure
Our love grew more than wealth can procure
We were the pleasure of epicure

Perfect love was our miniature
Each time we sailed we made no detour
Through the air, water, land and moor

It was as though we wrote love’s brochure
Sadly we are only in pictures
A perfect couple with such allure.

The situation

Hey, do you know not all in armour
Shinning are Prince Charm to adore?

Even a beast bald, ugly in clothes and bare
Is far better than cute deceitful teddy bear.

Nothing hurts more than hearing goodbye
Each time your love is unable to buy

Pearls and diamonds yet like a fairy
Which you are, you turned obstacles into ferries

But your wishful thinking dies in paradise
Before your eyes while it all gets jeopardized.

Even with unending tears you endured pains
And persistently begged your dearest to stay

Yet nothing flows, her presence is never close
Inevitably, she never hesitates to say no.

Gone tomorrow

I searched for scattered romantic petals
But got my heart scattered in pieces

Fair exchange is no robbery
But I got nothing for such love story

So, let the tears falling down through my chin
Erode me like flood, and get me a fin

To swim throughly through my demise
And if it is sight, let it freeze my eyes

I have been brused nothing can be worse
Than daily taking a turn for the worse…

So tonight while I cry like a baby
Don’t ever think there is a maybe

Of me swallowing my very vomits
Or me repeating same crimes I commit

Though it is, water under the bridge
To always forget, I will burn bridges

Tomorrow deserve none of these
But I need not another froggy kiss.

My type of love

I can have the world by the tail
Even when all trials fail

I rather sleep alone and frown
Than skipping brain for a brawn

The quest for knowledge makes me gate crash
Giving me a ‘love at first sight” match..

When it comes to attraction
It is not the physical posession

But the content of the brain
Pouring on me like the rains

I seem to connect on every track
When energised by sweet sparks

In such plug is where I belong
Every second I get sprung

Reaching orgasm by listening
To the words that are spilling

From the lips of a rich brain
That may go by just any name

I don’t need a physical kiss
I am okay with a mental bliss.

Quintessences of love

Are you a deserted island or blue and soaked in tears?
I know of a drug that truly heals the disease soul

Dry bones propels around it even after it being broken
Choked thorax breaths healthily even after it was soldered

It resides by the corner where condemn irons bleed rust
It makes valuable from the core of the iron’s smelted ore

It clears the air, proving there is a soulmate for everyone
It is crazy, it is foolish and worth it when found

For in the furnace of the heart, it is quintessence
And although it makes no sense, it is best explained by itself.

Approached

Love finds a way like water
The right recipe matters
From a pot to make a dish
Meant to sustain and nourish.

Why is it that when man desire
To possess the burning fire,
He rushes where Angels fail to thread
For love, he goes off the deep end.

Until she fall under his belt,
He always seem to fidget
Most times his liver falters
And the right words fail to utter.

At the other side of the net,
Even with bee in her bonnet
The lady would be a cold fish
And dark horse, in face of her wish.

A to Z of a fall

I was a dark horse, torn and scattered,
Till an organizer picked me up
She mend my broken heart anew
Filling my head with rose and blues
By the deep wonders of her muse.

I was bedazzled by her looks
Innocent and tender like a child
She is adorable in all her sides
No doubt, I smile more around her
Indeed she is a good entertainer.

I use to hide deep in my shells,
Like I needed wards and charms
Until she boost my confidence
Into becoming a socialiser
Interacting with all of hers.

I promised to be her provider,
Her counsellor and her pleaser;
For God blessed the day she fell
Nurturing the little seed we sow
Daily, watching it grow and glow.

I am an advocate for peace
Even with a million punch,
A cheek I give, with flower bunch
But, I am no longer a diplomat,
Now, for her love, till death, I fight.

Reasons to run (IV)

Oh what an ecstasy
To cry rivers in sleep,
Taking bullets from guns
And tears; yet, not move on.

If I bleed and still dance
And see no other chance
Other than to remain
And watch my own remains

I must have so fallen
So deep in the honey
But; I pray not to find
Such a love truly blind.

Reasons to run (III)

Dead is melody without chemistry,
Running away fixes such broken pieces,
Providing a shade for the past to fade,
I just can not die, for a love not mine
It is like a train, travelling derailed
I get off the ride, that is not in stride.
