Hazel’s Diary: 6 Months old

From blown balloon to neonate
She has made me a proud dad…

Today is the yesterday
Half a year ago she was born.

Amazing, soon comes the spoon
Picking solids outside breast milk.

Even as time transforms her
In my eyes, she remains neonate

Giggling in memories
Where I guild her while she crawls.

Six months, I still water her
Watching her shine and flourish

Praying she bloom and rule
For Dad loves her, forevermore.

Hazel’s Diary: Five Months gone

Sweet Hazel
Daddy’s first girl

Precious heart
God’s perfect art

Greased with oil
Made to allure.

Achilles’s heel
You are to me

Give me five!
Well done my child.

As you crawl
To penny drops

Learn more tricks
Each time you blink…

Five months are gone
Since you were born

You still rock
In all your socks…

Still giggling
And still sucking

Keep growing
And keep glowing

Dad loves you more
Forevermore.

Hazel’s Diary: Cutting

Adorable in my arms
Adorable how time flies…
Innocent and tender
With poop stinking diapers

Tooth fairy should merry
Rejoicing new entry
So frequent poop arise
Discomfort yet no cries

Panics build up in mum
Over the swollen gums
Where twin erupting roots
Acquires greater feet

The growing incisors
Will cut meats like scissors
Can’t wait for your charm
To show in brand new smile.

Hazel’s Diary: Admiring you

With radiance of a sun
crystal like an ice,

Conspicuous to those
with or without both eyes…

Innocent and tender
well wrapped in my hands

Till you get satisfied,
I will have no crumbs

The rains, winds, snows and
thunders may come as storms

Wherever you go
fairweather must conform…

In my eyes, you stay little
hope you were told,

The gods respects
the rare beauty you behold

Like ice on a cake, things you
touch will turn to gold.

Hazel’s Diary: My beautiful child

Heavens gave you strength, shield, arrow and a bow
And made your charms colorful like a rainbow

Your infectious smile is like a yellow sun,
Its magnanimity brings about a new dawn.

Hazel’s Diary: Wonderful Daughter

You are such a beautiful Princess
Peaceful from birth, you are a wonder
My pride, my child, my lovely daughter

The best of astonishment Earth ever graced
From your tender eyes the heavens loom through
To see the secret of the blooming rose trees.

Hazel’s Diary: 3months old

Blood can never be broken nor bent by any pandemic
In you is the gene that can not be mimicked
By Tom, Dick and Harry or mere platonic…

Like larvas metamorphoses to butterflies
It is indeed so beautiful how fast time flies
Seems as if you grow every time I blink my eyes

Soon you will no longer crave for mom’s breast milk
A big girl from a version of great microcosmic
I can’t wait to see you become a classic chic.

Through the Aisle, to bearing children of my link
But today you are three months old still sucking milk
As my tender replica, mirror image and palindromic

I couldn’t have chosen a better first fruit other than you
Together we will go on adventures when the time is due
Intriguingly exciting they are to be, that I promise you.

Hazel’s Diary: Our reflection

Hazel my daughter in whom I am well pleased
In her I see the feminine version of myself
And from another angle I clearly see her mummy

We are the images, and she is a plate
The ultimate father of lights is the picture
While life is the light, that placed us in her

She smiles infectiously like her mother,
And filled of enthusiasms like her father
Apples really do not fall far from its trees

She is our combination in reflection
Reason we are gifted from the father of lights
For she chose us, we never precisely picked her…

I see our noses, eyes and our reflection
It baffles me how breaths could replicate
Forming a perfect mirror image of it selves.

Hazel’s Diary: Do not flinch

Hazel my child you are so pure
Inside you is a super gene
Transcribed from wit and translated
From immeasurable greatness;
Your beauty is bright as a sun
With a strong untamed energy,
You represent a winning brood
Under God’s wings, favor and grace
Make the most of the brood you are.

Hazel my child, you will fly but
Before you run, you must first walk
Give yourself time to reach the moon
Steps on ladders have a purpose
For an introspective idea
All you need is to make a move
And never you be scared to fail
“Quitting cold turkey”, is the wedge
Only between you and success.

Hazel’s diary: Dad’s duplicate

I lay awake on the bed
Watching Hazel’s shape of head
And how the soft spot appear
Just like ripe Avocado pear

Her brain must be versatile
Though she looks small and fragile
Her strength is seen in her eyes
Frozen but she still melts an ice

And each time I look at her
I see me deep inside her
She is my other copy
Far better than all jewelries.
